Lakki Marwat: A festive weekend sporting event ended in tragedy when heavily armed militants ambushed a group of local villagers in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Saturday.

As they were returning to their village in a rickshaw, armed assailants ambushed them near the Abdulkhel locality, within the jurisdiction of the Shaheed Haibat Ali Khan police station in Darra Pezu town.
