News Dehli: Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw and actor Akriti Agarwal have reunited weeks after calling off their engagement, with Agarwal explaining that the opinions of people close to her influenced her earlier decision.

In a statement shared on social media, Agarwal said she felt she had been misguided and had ended the engagement without having the honest conversation their relationship needed.

She accepted responsibility for the decision and the hurt it caused, adding that the couple had since spoken openly, understood each other and decided to give their relationship another chance.

Agarwal said they wanted to build their future on mutual understanding, trust and love. She also asked people to respect their decision as they begin a new chapter together.

The couple announced their engagement in March 2026, before Agarwal confirmed their separation in September. Their latest statements indicate that they have now reconciled.
