Beirut: One paramedic was killed and 2 other people were injured on Monday when an IDF airstrike targeted a moving ambulance in southern Lebanon, local media reported. The incident occurred alongside ongoing military clashes in Yemen, reflecting continued volatility across multiple regional fronts.
According to Lebanon-based Al Mayadeen television, the IDF military directly struck the emergency vehicle as it was travelling through the town of Kfar Rumman in the Nabatieh governorate.
Local news outlets identified the slain paramedic as Ali Shahrour. Emergency response personnel were dispatched to the site shortly after the strike to provide aid and convey the wounded to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Neither the IDF military nor Lebanese government authorities issued an immediate public statement regarding the incident in Kfar Rumman.
