The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct is scheduled for September 8 at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT and will run for approximately 30 minutes.
For viewers in Pakistan, the presentation will begin at approximately 7 p.m. PKT on September 8.
Nintendo has confirmed that the showcase will focus on The Legend of Zelda, but the company has not yet disclosed the specific announcements or games that will be featured.
The timing is particularly notable because The Legend of Zelda officially reached its 40th anniversary in February 2026, making this presentation a major opportunity for Nintendo to celebrate one of its most important gaming franchises.

Unlike the Zelda-focused event, the September 9 presentation will cover games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 this winter.
That means Nintendo could use the longer showcase to provide release dates, trailers, gameplay footage and additional details about titles scheduled to arrive during the upcoming winter period.
For viewers in Pakistan, the second Direct will also begin at approximately 7 p.m. PKT on September 9.
How to watch the Nintendo Direct presentations
Both presentations will be available through Nintendo's official channels. Nintendo has confirmed that viewers will be able to watch the broadcasts online, including through its official YouTube channels and Nintendo's website.
