Lahore: Director Saife Hassan has shared exclusive behind the scenes details regarding the production of HUM TV's acclaimed drama serial Aap Ki Izzat, praising celebrated screenwriter Umera Ahmed for sticking to her original creative vision despite his initial reservations.

Speaking in a recent interview, Hassan disclosed that he personally visited Ahmed at her residence in Lahore prior to filming, hoping to suggest modifications to key plot elements and propose a different title for the serial. However, Ahmed firmly declined the requested changes, maintaining full confidence in her storyline and character arcs.

Hassan acknowledged that Ahmed’s artistic conviction proved entirely justified. Despite launching with modest promotional backing compared to other prime time offerings, Aap Ki Izzat has grown into a major public success, capturing widespread viewership and praise for its realistic dialogue, poignant themes, and strong performances by lead actors Urwa Hocane and Ahsan Khan.
