Lahore: MPA Saqib Chadhar has made a series of startling claims about actress Momina Iqbal and her sister, Ramsha Iqbal, amid an escalating legal battle. The controversy began when Momina Iqbal posted on Instagram, alleging harassment by an incumbent or former politician, prompting an investigation by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
Speaking in a recent interview, Chadhar claimed that he had previously facilitated Ramsha Iqbal's higher education in Australia and employed her at his security firm there. He alleged that Ramsha filed a USD 1 million harassment suit against his Australian business partner, which was ultimately settled out of court for USD 165,000 before she returned to Pakistan a maneuver Chadhar claims both sisters are now attempting to replicate against him.
Chadhar further alleged that Momina Iqbal's legal representation contacted him demanding a settlement of Rs 200 million , which was later negotiated down to Rs 110 million , asserting that he possesses documentary evidence and meeting records of these negotiations. Additionally, Chadhar claimed that Momina had expressed a desire to become his second wife despite knowing his marital status, while also alleging that Momina herself had been previously married and divorced in 2018. Momina Iqbal and her legal team have yet to issue a detailed public counter statement regarding Chadhar's latest interview claims.
