Quetta: Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has reaffirmed that the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Balochistan remain central to the efforts of the state.
CDF Munir made these remarks during a visit to Quetta Garrison, where he interacted with commanders and commanding officers of the field formations. Upon his arrival in Quetta, he was received by the Commander Quetta Corps.
During the visit, the Field Marshal was given a comprehensive briefing regarding the prevailing security environment in the region, operational preparedness, and ongoing measures aimed at maintaining peace and stability across the province.
The review also encompassed matters related to institutional coordination and state support for the socio-economic development of Balochistan. CDF Syed Asim Munir emphasised that a stable and secure environment would continue to facilitate development initiatives, economic opportunities, and improved prospects for the local population.
He also highlighted the importance of continued coordination among Law Enforcement Agencies and other state institutions. He noted that such collaboration is essential to consolidate peace and maintain an environment conducive to ongoing economic activity and sustainable development.
Appreciating the troops, CDF Munir commended the high standards of professionalism, operational readiness, and selfless commitment displayed by the personnel. He also paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and lauded the steadfast dedication of the officers and troops in the discharge of their duties.
