Peshawar: Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) governor and close Imran Khan associate Shah Farman has accused Murad Saeed of holding Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) hostage in a message shared with the party’s core committee WhatsApp group.
According to details obtained by QOM News, Farman said the entire party, including himself, was being held hostage by Saeed.
He also used derogatory language questioning Saeed’s mental health. The remarks were a personal allegation rather than a medical assessment.
Farman further said he had informed Khan about the situation in January 2025 in the presence of Atif Khan, Junaid Akbar, Ali Zaman and Mashal.
He maintained that Khan had been told at that meeting what was happening within the party.
