Islamabad: Apple Music has officially launched in Pakistan, bringing the company’s music streaming service to Pakistani users more than a decade after its international rollout.
The service offers an Individual plan for Rs 379 per month, while the Family plan costs Rs 649 per month. Both subscriptions include a one month free trial for eligible new users.
The launch gives users in Pakistan access to Apple Music’s catalogue through iPhones, iPads, Macs, Android devices and other supported platforms.
Apple Music was first launched internationally in June 2015, entering the streaming market as Apple expanded beyond music downloads through iTunes.
The platform provides on demand music streaming alongside playlists, radio programming and personalised recommendations. Apple Music also supports features including lossless audio and Spatial Audio for compatible tracks and devices.
Apple Music's arrival adds another subscription based music service to Pakistan’s streaming market, giving local listeners another option to access international and Pakistani music through a paid platform.
