Quetta: Earthquakes tremors measuring a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale were felt across the Khuzdar district of Balochistan and its neighboring areas, seismic monitoring officials confirmed.
According to data released by the Seismological Centre, the seismic activity originated at a depth of 30 kilometres beneath the surface. Preliminary measurements located the epicenter approximately 45 kilometres east of Khuzdar city.
Local rescue authorities and emergency services immediately assessed the situation in the affected zones following the underground activity. Emergency teams confirmed that no casualties, injuries, or significant damage to property have been reported in the immediate aftermath of the event.
Disaster response teams and local administrative personnel continue to monitor the region to ensure public safety in the surrounding districts.
