Web Desk: The long awaited first track from Coke Studio Nu.WAV, titled "Dil," has officially dropped, sparking intense debate across social media platforms. The track brings together Hyderabad born singer and rapper Afusic known for his global hit "Pal Pal" classical pop vocalist Zoha Waseem, and producer Ali Soomro.

Centered on the catchy refrain "Jeenay ka maza hai Dil de ke," the song explores themes of love, distraction, and remaining grounded amidst public attention. The creation of "Dil" began spontaneously when producer Ali Soomro crafted a guitar beat in twenty minutes, to which Afusic promptly added phone recorded vocals.

Described by Soomro as a moment of aamad an artistic idea finding the creator the track combines Afusic's verses with Zoha Waseem's classical vocals to form a musical conversation. Director Kamal Khan translated this dynamic into a surreal music video featuring upside down sets, floating figures, vintage televisions, and purple neon lighting. Despite the creative direction, online audiences have responded with divided opinions.

Much of the public criticism stems from fans equating Nu.WAV directly to traditional Coke Studio seasons, rather than treating it as a distinct platform designed for bedroom producers and modern digital first artists. Nonetheless, Nu.WAV has five additional releases lined up, featuring a roster of established and emerging talent including Asim Azhar, Hasan Raheem, Shae Gill, and Young Stunners
