Karachi: Pakistani actor Muneeb Butt has announced the approval of welfare stipends for over 700 artists across Sindh following a high level Management Board meeting held by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Taking to his official Instagram handle, Butt shared a carousel of photographs from the proceedings, which were chaired by the Provincial Minister for Culture and Tourism, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, alongside presidents of Art Councils from across the province and members of the Management Board.
Writing on social media, Butt confirmed that all pending welfare applications submitted by Karachi based artists to the ministry had been successfully approved during the session. Expressing his gratitude, the actor described the initiative as a crucial step towards acknowledging the contributions of creatives and providing essential financial support to Sindh’s artistic community. Butt, who has been a prominent figure in Pakistani television and cinema since his acting debut in 2012, commended the board's decision and congratulated the recipient artists on the landmark welfare approval.
