Dubai: Pakistan's women's cricket team put in a disappointing performance against arch rivals India as the two met in Dubai for their Group A match. Pakistan were bowled out for 55, their lowest ever score in a T20 international match in their two hundredth outing in the format.

Pakistan chose to bat first after winning the toss but got off to a slow start that put the pressure on openers Muneeba Ali and Shawaal Zulfiqaar to pick up the pace, but things started unravelling quickly after Muneeba was bowled by by Shafali Verma for 13.

Things fell apart completely when captain Fatima Sana, who has rescued Pakistan in the past, was given out Lbw for a duck, making it 33/6. The tail wrapped up quickly, leaving India an easy chase that they began with a six off the first ball of the innings. Despite losing three wickets, India made short work of the target and wrapped up the innings in under nine overs.

This was Pakistan's second match of the tournament and India's third. India has so far won all three of its first round matches and leads the group. Pakistan won their first match against Thailand by 35 runs and will face Hong Kong in the last match of this round robin at the group stage tomorrow.
