Quetta: Balochistan Home Minister Ziaullah Langove has reiterated that while the provincial government has never refused political dialogue, negotiations cannot take place under the threat of guns. Speaking to various delegations in Quetta on Sunday, Langove stated that the state will not allow armed groups to force their demands through violence or coercion.
Langove urged all stakeholders, particularly the youth, to abandon armed resistance and choose education, development, and democratic engagement. Emphasising that the doors to dialogue remain open to anyone who accepts Pakistan's Constitution and governance framework, he firmly rejected the notion that any state could weaken its constitutional system in response to armed pressure.
His remarks come amid a heightened security situation in districts like Mastung and Kalat, reinforcing the provincial government's clear boundary between political reconciliation and security enforcement.
