Lahore: The youngest daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Mahnoor Safdar, has solemnised her Nikah with Azaan Jabbar, son of prominent businessman Jabbar Khalid, in an intimate ceremony held at the Sharif family's Jati Umra estate in Lahore. The event was kept strictly private, bringing together close relatives and select family guests. Key figures in attendance included three-time former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, as well as Hasan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz.

The celebration comes shortly after Mahnoor completed her degree in Anthropology from SOAS University of London. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz had recently travelled to the British capital to attend the graduation ceremony, describing the occasion as a moment of immense pride for her family. The Nikah marks the latest high profile family gathering for the Sharif family following the wedding of Mahnoor’s elder brother, Junaid Safdar, in January.
