Islamabad: Lebanese Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar arrived in Pakistan on Monday for a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between Pakistan and Lebanon.

The visit is being made at the invitation of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry received Al-Hajjar at Islamabad International Airport upon his arrival.

The Lebanese minister's visit will include meetings with Pakistani officials and members of the country's leadership, with discussions expected to focus on matters of mutual interest and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, according to Radio Pakistan

Officials from Pakistan and Lebanon will hold talks on strengthening bilateral ties and promoting collaboration in areas of common interest. The meetings are also expected to cover measures aimed at further developing relations between Islamabad and Beirut.

Al-Hajjar was formally received by Pakistani officials at Islamabad International Airport. The reception was attended by Talal Chaudhry and senior officials, including the Chief Commissioner Islamabad and the Inspector General of Police Islamabad.

The visit provides an opportunity for the two sides to discuss mutual cooperation and explore ways to expand bilateral engagement. Meetings during the two-day stay will focus on strengthening relations and promoting cooperation between Pakistan and Lebanon.

Al-Hajjar's visit comes at the invitation of Pakistan's interior minister and forms part of official engagement between the two countries. The Lebanese delegation is scheduled to hold discussions with Pakistani counterparts during the visit before concluding the two-day programme.
