Quetta: Electricity supply to Gandawah was disrupted after unidentified thieves stole conductors from 24 poles on its 33kV feeder in the Bhaag area on Saturday, according to the Quetta Electric Supply Company.
Qesco spokesperson Afzal Baloch said three concrete poles were also damaged during the theft, interrupting supply to Gandawah city.
The conductors carry electricity along the overhead line. Their removal disrupted the feeder connecting the city to the power network.
Baloch said Qesco would conduct an initial survey, prepare a report and assess the financial losses caused by the theft.
