Web Desk: HUM TV has released the inaugural teaser for its new drama serial Hurmat, generating significant anticipation among television audiences. Starring Dananeer Mobeen in the titular role, the series promises an engaging narrative centered on self discovery, female empowerment, and the societal constraints placed upon young women in conservative households.

The story follows Hurmat, a young woman living under the strict control of her father, played by veteran actor Ali Tahir. Initially denied the opportunity to pursue higher education, her life takes a pivotal turn when she relocates to a modern city to attend university. There, she meets a fellow classmate, portrayed by digital creator and actor Shahveer Jafry, as she attempts to navigate independence, personal relationships, and life away from home. Senior actor Javed Sheikh also features prominently, playing a character who assists Hurmat in taking her first steps into the wider world.

Penning the project is writer Kashif Anwar, known for acclaimed social dramas such as Sabaat, Neem, and Nauroz. Produced under the Momina Duraid Productions banner and directed by Nadeem Siddiqui, the teaser highlights thought provoking dialogue surrounding female identity and societal expectations. Following her previous television appearances in Sinf e Aahan and Mohabbat Gumshuda Meri, Mobeen's return to the screen has drawn a warm response from viewers online, with HUM TV expected to confirm an official broadcast date in due course.
