Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Officers Association and the Global System of Integrated Studies (Pvt) Ltd (GSIS) have signed a MoU to extend significant educational benefits to CDA employees and their families. Under the terms of the agreement, children of regular CDA employees will receive a 50 per cent discount on monthly tuition fees alongside a full waiver of both the one time admission fee and the refundable security deposit.
Additionally, eligible students will receive priority processing during the admissions intake and preferential placement on waiting lists over general public applicants. Students enrolled under the initiative will have complete access to the institution’s academic facilities, co curricular activities, and student development programmes on equal terms with regular fee paying pupils.
CDA Officers Association General Secretary Chaudhary Kamran Bakht stated that the initiative aims to ease the growing financial burden on employees while securing quality education for their children. CDA Member Estate Muhammad Zaman Watto hailed the agreement as a crucial welfare milestone, while GSIS Principal and Director Administration Quratulain Ali Rizvi reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to facilitating effective implementation of the partnership.
