The sub-committee meeting on Legal Reforms and Legislative Scrutiny of the Women's Parliamentary Caucus (WPC) was held on August 24, 2026, at 4 pm at the WPC Secretariat in Parliament House, Islamabad. The session brought together a number of prominent women parliamentarians.

The meeting was chaired by Ms Sofia Saeed Shah (MNA), representing the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Pakistan (MQM-P) on a reserved seat for Sindh, anchored in the Clifton and South District of Karachi. She was joined by Dr Nafisa Shah (MNA), representing the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) on a reserved seat for Sindh from Khairpur District, and Syeda Shehla Raza (MNA), also representing PPPP from Karachi, Sindh.

Representing the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), the sub-committee included Ms Musarrat Asif Khawaja (MNA) from Sialkot Cantonment, Punjab, on a reserved seat; Ms Saba Sadiq (MNA) from Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore, Punjab, on a reserved seat; Ms Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar from Daska, Ms Ayesha Nazir, an independent lawmaker from Burewala. Ms Akhtar Bibi (MNA) from Dera Murad Jamali in the Naseerabad District, representing a reserved seat for Balochistan; and Ms Shaista Khan (MNA) from Haripur District, representing a reserved seat for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
